Ontario Trade Skills Competition Medalists PDF Print E-mail

Yesterday David & Mary Thomson's Dana Bikram (Photography) and Saffi Chaudhry (IT Office Software Applications) completed in the Ontario Trade Skills Competition in Kitchener/Waterloo. This is a very tough competition in which only top place finishers from each of the school boards across Ontario are allowed to compete.

Saffi Chaudhry finished second for Ontario and will receive a silver medal.

Dana Bikram's results will follow in the next two weeks. She competed in a very large group and did well. Only the medalists are announced the day after the competition and all contestant results are released two weeks later.

Congratulations Dana, Saffi and the TECHNOLOGY DEPARTMENT for all your hard work!

Some former DMT students attending U of T met up with the group to talk about their university experiences and the day finished with a walking tour of the St. George campus.
