Thomson students visit U of T Engineering
University of Toronto Engineering Dept. welcomed DMT Physics and Chemistry students for a tour of their engineering labs on March 28. Students explored the Chemical Engineering lab to learn about artificial kidneys and 'liquid sand', then toured the Mechanical Engineering lab to see how they test structures for bridges and build skyscrapers to withstand earthquakes. Some former DMT students attending U of T met up with the group to talk about their university experiences and the day finished with a walking tour of the St. George campus.
The student agenda mistakenly has April 29th listed as a PLT day. Please be advised that this will now be a regular day of school, not a late start. Classes will begin at 8:55 am as per the regular day schedule.
OSSLT Grade 9 Mock Test
The OSSLT Grade 9 Mock Test has been rescheduled for Friday March 28. This does not affect the actual OSSLT date for students scheduled to write.
