Students please find the final exam schedule for June 2013 below.  Remember the exam guidelines:

Exam Guidelines:

    1. Students must present their DMT picture ID before each exam.
    2. Students must review the exam schedule carefully. It is every student's responsibility to be aware of their exam date, time, and room number.
    3. Students who are late for an exam are only permitted the time remaining.
    4. Students who miss an exam will receive a mark of "0" unless a medical certificate, clearly indicating the reason for the absence, is received in the office by 12:00 noon the following day.
    5. When dismissed from an exam by the supervising teacher, students must leave the school or report to the library for quiet study. The library is open from  June 20-25 between 10:00am to 1:00pm.
    6. Students that have 2 exams on the same date and time, see Ms. Sidlofsky regarding a revised schedule.
    7. Students that have 3 exams on one day, see Ms. Sidlofsky regarding a revised schedule

Student Athletic Plaque Awards Form PDF Print E-mail

Students are encouraged to register their participation in various athletics using this form: David and Mary Thomson Student Athletic Plaque Awards Form

Students can qualify for a Silver Plaque (4 sports), Gold Plaque (8 sports), or Thomson 'T' Award (12 or more sports) at this year's Athletic Banquet.

SAC MayFest PDF Print E-mail

The student council will be hosting their annual MayFest on May 13th 2013. This day will consists of several carnival activities, such as jumpy castles, obstacles courses, snow-cones, popcorn, airbrush artists and many more. We will be having an extended lunch so we encourage all staff and students to join SAC at the back of our school for a day full of fun and free events!

*Please note the change of date.  This event was rescheduled to Monday May 13th due to the risk of inclement weather on the originally scheduled day.

MayFest Schedule:

Per.1 - 8:55-10:10
Per.2 - 10:10-11:20
Lunch (AKA MayFest!) - 11:20-12:40
Per.3 - 12:40-1:50

The David & Mary Thomson CI Music Department Presents....

Our 5th Annual "Thursday Night at the Movies!"

Come and watch some of your favourite movies from your childhood to adulthood up on the big screen as we play the soundtrack live by our Senior Concert Band, Grade 9/10 Band, Vocalists, Guitarists, and Violinists!

We serve beverages and popcorn! The cost for the event is FREE!

Mainstage Men Summer Program PDF Print E-mail

Soulpepper is hosting an exciting opportunity for aspiring young male actors on Wednesday July 24 and Thursday July 25.  The program will include acting, writing, improvisation, and stage combat, along with opportunities to see productions of Angels in America Parts 1 & 2.  The program is completely free, and will even include a $20 / day allowance to cover the costs of transportation and food!

MSA raises $625 for the Red Cross! PDF Print E-mail

Congratulations to the David and Mary Thomson Muslim Student Association (MSA) on a successful fundraiser on behalf of the Red Cross. As a result of your efforts, and the generosity of our staff and students, $625 was raised.

How Teens Can Build their Career Pathway to Prosperity PDF Print E-mail

The Association of Career Educators is hosting a workshop on Wednesday, May 22 at Georges Vanier Secondary School entitled "How Teens Can Build their Career Pathway to Prosperity".  The workshop will cover a range of topics from planning high school courses, to post-secondary pathways, to financing your education, and even predictions of the future job market.

The event is free, and runs from 6:30 - 8:40 pm.  For additional details and information on how to register, view the flyer:
